What does LJ Hooker Connect do?
Moving home is a stressful time with a number of activities to be organised and co-ordinated. Not the least of which is organising for your gas, electricity, telephone and water connections for your new house. LJ Hooker Connect can remove some of the stress and frustration associated with your move by organising for your gas, electricity, water, telephone, internet and pay TV to be connected on your behalf.

Can I choose my service providers?
You are free to choose your gas, electricity and telephony service providers.
The only service provider you are unable to choose is your water service provider as you are only able to connect to the service provider that operates at your new property address.

How long will it take to get connected?
For most locations, next day connection can be organised if your connection request is received by 9:30am the day before. For example if you wish to have your home connected on Monday, your connection request would need to be received by LJ Hooker Connect prior to 9:30am on Friday.
Some connections can be organised for a Saturday or on short notice during the week, however an after hours fee may be charged by the service provider.

What happens after I submit my application?
Once your application is received we will review your details to ensure we have all the required information to organise your connections. We may require some additional information depending upon the services you wish to have connected. To obtain the additional information we will contact you on your preferred day time contact number. It will only take a couple of minutes to finalise your request.
We will then liaise with your service providers to organise connection.

Do I have to connect all my utility services via LJ Hooker Connect?
No you can choose to connect some utility services via LJ Hooker Connect and connect others yourself. It’s completely up to you.

Is there a cost associated with using LJ Hooker Connect?
LJ Hooker Connect is a completely free service. You will not incur any charges from LJ Hooker Connect. Your service providers will charge normal connection fees.
