Arranging disconnections

An important part of moving that can be easily forgotten is the need to organise disconnections at a previous address.

Failure to notify your utility suppliers can leave you paying for someone else's bills until either you, or the new occupant, notify the supplier of the move.

Keeping your current telephone number(s)

It is possible to transfer your existing home phone number to your new home when you move locally within an exchange area. If you're moving further away, we will let you know your new number once your connection has been processed.

If you do want to keep the same Telstra phone number then make sure you notify us when our move home consultant calls to verify your request.

Transferring existing services

If you like the provider/plan that you currently have - we can in some cases arrange a transfer. Talk to our moving home consultant about this option when we call you to finalise your request.
