Choosing an electricity retailer

Are you in a deregulated state?
The first step to choosing an electricity retailer will depend on whether or not you are moving to a state that is deregulated for residential premises. See the table below to see if your new home is in a state that has been deregulated:

For states that are deregulated - In the competitive states where consumers are free to select their electricity retailer connectnow offers a panel of suppliers to choose from. This panel does not cover all of the possible suppliers of electricity, however, includes some of the largest and most well known providers in Australia.
