When & how

When will my insurance commence?

You specify when you'd like the insurance policy to start. You can either select the day you complete your application or a day in the future.

Arranging a quote

You can either spend your time trying to find a reputable provider, calling around, and waiting on hold, or connectnow can take the leg work out by requesting a quote for you from a connectnow recommended provider.

All you need to do is – enter your postcode into our online moving home tool. We will identify a provider in your area. Simply add the product to your shopping cart - and we will arrange for them to call you within 24 hours to give you a quote.

You are under no obligation to proceed with any quote.

How long is my quote valid for?

When you receive your quote back from your supplier you can ask what time period the quote is valid for.

How will my premiums be calculated?

If you select Building insurance the premiums will be calculated based on a number of factors including the location of your home, the materials used to construct the home, age of the home, how the home is secured from burglars, any optional covers you choose and the excess you select. You can find out more by discussing this with the insurance company after you've received your quote.
